Our company was founded by John Taylor, RRO, Sr. Project Consultant and Principal of our firm in 2001. Over a 20 year career following his diverse Construction Contracting experience and Construction Management & Technology education backgrounds, John Taylor has held upper level management positions with several established Contracting Companies and has also been a Sr. Project Sub-Consultant with prominent B.C. Engineering Firms providing Consulting, Project Management, & Inspection Services in the fields of Roofing, Waterproofing, Concrete and Building Envelope Restoration & Maintenance. This continues a long family tradition of Quality Projects for over 45 years in B.C.'s Building and Construction Industry.

Mr. Taylor has served on the boards of both the Western Canadian Chapter of RCI, Inc. - The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing & Building Envelope Professionals & The American Concrete Institute (ACI) B.C. Chapter, and has also served on the Below and Above Grade Waterproofing Committee of The SWRI - The Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute over his tenure.

J. Taylor & Associates' prime Consulting Services focus on the effects, assessment and prevention of water ingress into building structures and exterior components of the Building Envelope. We accomplish this, through a "Project Team" approach by using both professional expertise and sound forensic analysis to provide conclusion with respect to existing conditions. We are then able to prepare and provide proper recommendations for either the maintenance repair of existing or the specification of new roofing and waterproofing systems for our valued clients.
